Navigators Varsity Basketball Week Ahead (Jan 2-4)

Wednesday (1/2):

Boys practice 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Girls practice 4:30-6:00 p,m.

The girls can stay at homework club free of charge tomorrow from 3:15-4:30 tomorrow before their practice. If you choose to pick them up and drop them back off, that is fine too. If they are staying, please give me a heads up so I have an accurate count of who will be staying in the building.

Thursday (1/3): Home games against Excel East Boston at the JCC.

Boys tip off at 5 p.m.

Girls tip off at 6 p.m.

Boys will meet there at 4:30 for warm-ups and the girls should plan to be there by 5:15 p.m.

Friday (1/4): Celtics Field Trip!!

I will send a separate email with additional details, but the schedule has to be updated slightly from what was on the permission slip.

The NBA flexed this game into the ESPN National Television 8 p.m time slot. As a result, we will be leaving slightly later and will return to MCCPS later.

Student-athletes will be dismissed at 3:15 and may return at 5 p.m. We will eat dinner (pizza & salad) before boarding the bus at 5:30 p.m. We will have snacks for the bus as well.

With the later game time, I would expect us now to arrive back to MCCPS shortly after 11 p.m. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please let me know if you have any questions about what should make for a very fun week for our basketball teams!

Sincerely,

Coach Young
